What is the Collaborative Learning Community?
A community of Australian organisations coming together for “Cross-Organisational Collaboration” following the Guiding Principles of SoL (The Society for Organisational Learning).
“The purpose of sol is to discover, integrate and implement theories and practices for the interdependent development of people and their institutions.” The Collaborative Learning Community exists to facilitate this for and with its members so they can build learning organisations that drive high performance and outstanding delivery.
The agenda and direction of the community is driven by its Members. The social nature of the interactions will challenge what has been, look to what is happening now, and co-create and prototype the new.
Our intention is to support Community Members in building innovative, high performing organisations by working together to make sense of and leverage most effectively the threats and opportunities that our current (ever-changing) environment is presenting us.
The Collaborative Learning Community is a network of professionals who come together to explore the latest and newest developments and activities around organisational capability performance and innovation within a dynamic social and collaborative learning environment.
Collaborative Learning Community Member Only Events
Corporate annual membership entitles any two employees attendance at:
Quarterly one day Community Co-Lab events.
With a focus on high performance within the organisational learning space, these full day events include guest speakers, case studies, global SoL updates, interactive member collaboration, feedback on membership Co-Create (Deep Dive) Workshop activities and, of course, networking. They are designed to prompt new ways of thinking abut what is happening and how we can approach things to “lead from the future as it emerges”.
Quarterly half day Community Co-Create Workshops.
With a focus on productivity, these half day workshops are all about practical outcomes. They provide a platform to “deep dive” into specific areas collaboratively with other interested members, and an opportunity to investigate how they can be applied to your organisation to best meet it’s ongoing innovation and performance needs. Where the Co-Create Workshops result in “prototyping” in member organisations, temporary Communities of Practice will be established and fully supported for the purposes of effective delivery and feeding back outcomes to the wider community.
The content of these events is fluid and will be driven by the interests of community Members.
The inaugural Collaborative Learning Community Co-Lab event will be hosted in Sydney on the 28th November 2012.
